This is another recipe found in Better Homes & Gardens. I made this tonight and Thomas loved it although he said he would add more salt and "if it were a Bavarian dish, it would have cumin seeds in it." So we'll adjust it a bit more in the future.
Easy Roasted Potatoes
3 medium round red or white potatoes (1 lb), cut into eighths, or 10 to 12 new potatoes (1 lb), halved
2 T olive oil or butter or margarine, melted
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1. Place potatoes in a greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan. Combine oil, onion powder, garlic salt, pepper, and paprika; drizzle over potatoes, tossing to coat. Bake in a 325 F degree for 45 minutes. Stir potatoes; bake 10 to 20 minutes more or until potatoes are tender and brown on the edges.
To speed cooking time, roast potatoes in a 450 F degree oven about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
